I agree with your position regarding the importance of exposing children to art. Art encourages both children and adults to be creative and to have fun tapping into their own creativity. Too often, we are concerned with other's level of creativity and feel inferior. We then, therefore, disregard our own need for creativity because we feel as if others are more creative than us. This is why it is important for schools to provide artistic educational opportunities instead of cutting them the school system in efforts of maintaining appropriate levels of funding.
