GANESH CHATURTHI: As I reside in Mumbai in Maharashtra right there would be ganesh chaturthi an art and culture which is followed by all Marathi people in which they used to bring idols made of clay of lord ganesh in there homes. the idols size tells us that the idols is going to be there in our homes for one and a half days or three days or even five days rest all of them are kept in big decorated stands which tells us that it going to be seven days or nine days. the most popular ganesh chaturthi is there which is in lalbaug known as "lalbaug cha raja".some ganesh idols are for twenty one days too after all that comes ganesh visarjan in which we have to let lord ganesh return to his home by praising and making these idols go inside water through which he will be in his home in the place where lord Shiva and lord Parvati lives.
